Member of the board
Shady Sobhy
I’m Shady Sobhy, a Mechatronics Engineering graduate currently working in a contracting company, with more than 14 years of experience in the construction field and a professional certificate in Project Management. Beyond my engineering career, volunteering has been a central part of my life—something that gives meaning, purpose, and a sense of contribution. For over 18 years, I have been deeply involved in youth and children’s development programs, leading groups, managing camps, and helping design impactful activities across Egypt and South Africa.
Volunteering has shaped my belief that we are here to support one another and make life easier and better for everyone. One of my most inspiring experiences was visiting Albania, where the warmth and eagerness of the community to learn and grow left a lasting impression on me.
I hope to continue contributing to youth development and to play a meaningful role in supporting communities—helping create environments filled with growth, joy, and optimism, even through small acts of service.
